Day 6: Theatre Chat

I can't attest to this being the very best photo of the day. What I can say is that at speaks of the intensity and the intimacy that is formed when a group of actors gets together. Tonight, I spent time with some fantastic theater people and the intimacy and strength that comes out of that group is amazing. No topic is taboo and no discussion is off limits. This photo is of the incomparable Sonya Cooke, a woman who I don't know well at all, speaking passionately about theatre. It was a wonderful discussion and a wonderful evening.

Sorry for the late post, however, as I have yet to go to sleep and this was most certainly taken before midnight this is my December 30th post. Sorry internet!

Day 5: The Dangers of Decks

In preparation for Micheborah's (Two of the most amazing people formed into one of the world's finest couples) 3rd Annual Christmannukwanza New Year Party, Michelle (the most productive member of any society) asked me to assist her in building a deck off of their back porch. The entire project was completed without too many complications in 5 hours flat. We were pretty impressed with ourselves. Neighbor and fiance to the beautiful Harmony, Joel came over to see our handiwork which promptly rolled his ankle. Not the best way for a deck to be christened, however, I think he will pull through.

Day 4: Jessica and Hannah

Taking full advantage of a somewhat flexible schedule, I kidnapped my beautiful friends Jessica and Hannah and we headed out for a photo shoot. We took far too many pictures so choosing a favorite was hard. I love this one in large part because it was their idea to take this photo and it is so wonderfully silly and perfectly captures the wonder of our afternoon.

Day 3: And Already Tapped?

I feel a bit like I am just picking a family member and featuring them each day but this is partially because they all just left and i am about to be without my myriad of family members to fill these entries, so rather than apologize i will just conlude this run on sentance and introduce Clarebear, in excellent natural light. Not much photography going on gosh this camera takes good pictures.

Day 2: Curly Haired Cousin

Today, I got a new couch at a closeout sale at Lacks! Another very exciting day! This was thus the site for my photo today and my cousin Catherine was the subject! She is lying on a very cute rug.

Day 1: You'd Better Have A Merry Christmas

So today is Christmas and I received the very best gift ever. A beautiful Canon Rebel EOS T2i. I am a very happy camper. I have decided to celebrate my brand new camera with a 365 project! At first I was going to wait until New Years day and do a 2011 project but I am simply too excited. I really want to become a better photographer and learn how to really use my camera. I hope this challenge will help me to keep on top of growing my skills with my new camera and learning the various features. Additionally this is most likely my last college year as will most likely be graduating next december and that is worth commemorating.
Todays picture is of my cousin Teresa who is nearly 3. It was hard to pick a favorite picture today as christmas is such an infinitely photographable holiday but I am in love with this face.

Forgive me for the following:
My photography skills are limited.
My terrible blogging skills.
This lame intro.
If you are following this blog and we are facebook friendly I am sure some of these will pop up on there as well.
