I am not huge fan of knick-knacks but one rather useless thing that sits on random shelves these days is this candle. This candle was one of many Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants homages I have around from my tight high school girl group days. I don't burn it much but, feeling nostalgic, I lit it tonight. It reminds me of the night we all had our candles together burning while we decorated our "Pants" and the piles of wax with little beads and sequins embedded that collected on the shelf where we burned them. That was probably one of the best sleepovers in the history of sleepovers. And one of my fondest memories. I miss that and I miss us.Love you Amanda, Kahlyn, Katelyn, Kellia, Koki, and Priya. Sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday and but lately it seems like a lifetime ago. We are basically grown-ups now. Isn't that insane?

1. She is a master craft-person.
2. She takes random things really seriously like I do (i.e. keeping the candles).
3. She makes things way more exciting then they would otherwise be.
4. She gets you to do things you wouldn't have thought of before, whether it's a night at Fort Wilderness or a disco party in a closet.
5. She throws the most amazing parties. Like, ever.
6. She passes notes with you in class that have really cute pictures on them.
7. She's awesome at baking yummy desserts.
8. In fact, she's good at making food in general and will make Relay For Life Ramen Surprise with you.
9. She cares about you a lot and makes you feel important and special.
10. She is amazing at making pictures and memories, and I have so many funny stories and photos and keepsakes from my time with her.
